WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
BREATH WORK TECHNIQUES
Breath work techniques can help slow and deepen the inhalation and exhalation, stimulating the diaphragm to move up and down, creating a gentle pumping action that can help to move lymphatic fluid through the body. These techniques can be useful to help relax and reduce stress, which has a positive effect on the lymphatic system. Stimulating the flow of lymphatic fluid, as stress and tension can cause lymphatic fluid to become stagnant.

MOVEMENT EXERCISES
The lymphatic system relies on the contraction of muscles and movement to move lymph fluid through the lymph vessels and lymph nodes. This helps to flush out toxins, waste products, and excess fluids from the body's tissues, supporting the immune system and overall health. We will discover a series of movement exercises to target fluid retention in the stomach, digestive function, strengthen the core and stimulate the flow and drainage of lymph fluid.

STOMACH MASSAGE SEQUENCE
The Self Sculpt Stomach Sequence in corporates a combination of lymphatic drainage and stomach sculpting deep tissue techniques.
Lymphatic drainage helps to detoxify the body by flushing out the toxins, which can assist with digestive function, bloating, fluid retention and cellulite. It can also help balance our hormones and boost the immune system.
Stomach Sculpting is a deeper style of massage that uses the palms of the hands and the knuckles to break up the fat cells, evening out and reducing the appearance of cellulite, reshaping, de-bloating and enhancing the muscle definition of the stomach.

MEDITATION
The session will finish with a visualisation meditation, to further the relaxation and connection to the body. Allowing time to digest the workshop and any new sensations within the body.

WHAT TO BRING
~ Water bottle (it's important to stay hydrated!)
~ Wear activewear that is not too restrictive and will be easy to expose your stomach for the massage (maybe something that you're not worried about getting oil on)

NOT SUITABLE FOR ANY ONE WHO IS
~ Pregnant women (sorry Mumma!),
~ Prone to blood clots,
~ Has active cancer
~ Has had surgery in the past 6 weeks.
